4-H Club Erases LGBTQ+ Message, Leading To Students Quitting

Three kids who were part of the Odebolt, Iowa 4-H club are quitting after a window painting they did that included a rainbow was removed by one of the club’s leaders. On Sunday, October 1, the kids were painting store windows to recognize National 4-H Week and bring attention to the organization. Besides using the name of the club, they urged people to join the club with a rainbow drawn directly under the message. The following day as they drove past, they noticed the rainbow was gone. The family of these children thinks the club leaders could have come to them first, before taking it upon themselves to remove the rainbow. #Queer Up Education
