In a historic move, Greece celebrated its first same-sex marriage following the recent legalization of gay marriage. Stavros Gavriliadis and Dimitris Elefsiniotis tied the knot in Nea Smyrni, south Athens. The couple, together for over 20 years with three children, expressed relief and joy over the legal recognition of their family. Gavriliadis said that following the new law, after marriage, he can formally adopt Dimitris' twins, while Dimitris will adopt his son.
