Tennis legend Billie Jean King will serve as the grand marshal for the 2025 Rose Parade on January 1. This marks the second time a gay athlete has been honored with this role. First was Greg Louganis. King is a pioneering figure in women's sports and has been instrumental in the growth of professional women’s tennis. She was one of the first openly gay athletes and continues to advocate for equality. Beyond tennis, King co-owns the Los Angeles Dodgers and supports the elevation of women’s ice hockey.
