In an unprecedented achievement, Holy Cross Health has earned the "LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer" Designation in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Healthcare Equality Index. The 2024 Accelerating Health Equity conference in Kansas City runs from today through May 9. This prestigious designation was awarded in the 16th edition of the Healthcare Equality Index (HEI). Out of over 7,000 healthcare facilities surveyed, a record-breaking 1,065 actively participated in the HEI 2024 survey and scoring process, with 462 receiving the "LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer" designation.
