Carlos Santana Apologizes For Anti-Trans Comments Made At Recent Concert

Carlos Santana faced criticism last week when a video of the musician making anti-transgender comments during a concert in New Jersey in July resurfaced on social media. The video shows Carlos saying that we know who we are but when we grow up, and see things, we start believing that we could be something but “you know it ain't right, because a woman is a woman and a man is a man — that's it.” He then released an apology on his Facebook page, where he wrote, "I am sorry for my insensitive comments." Santana went on to mention that his goal is to honor and respect all ideals and beliefs, LGBTQ+ or not. #Queer Up Entertainment
