Hundreds of gay men attending the Daddyland circuit party in Dallas were evicted from the Crowne Plaza Downtown Dallas hotel over the weekend. The eviction followed complaints from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority members about attendees' attire. The hotel's notice read, “The OWNER OF THE HOTEL is requesting you LEAVE [IMMEDIATELY].” Attendees were promised refunds for the remaining days, and all events were cancelled.
