Ripley's Believe It or Not! is facing off against Escambia County Public Schools and Gov. DeSantis. The beloved company is clapping back after three of its books were removed from school library shelves. Escambia County officials have flagged over 1,600 books for review and potential banning, including eight encyclopedias, five dictionaries, hundreds of reference books, and three of Ripley's Believe It or Not! titles. Ripley's website is mocking this ban, inviting students to read good books that they are not permitted to read in Florida. The company is offering a free book to every Florida resident until May 15th. All you have to do is submit a request online and pick up a favorite book. #Queer Up Politics
