Three drag queens are lobbying against anti-LGBTQ+ bills on Capital Hill. Jiggly Caliente, Joey Jay, and Brigitte Bandit will meet lawmakers today for “Drag Lobby Day,” organized by MoveOn Political Action, to support the Equality Act and the Transgender Bill of Rights. The Equality Act seeks to amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to include gender identity and sexual orientation.
