Elon Musk Moves SpaceX and Twitter HQs to Texas Over California’s New LGBTQ+ School Policies

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has declared plans to relocate his companies, SpaceX and Twitter, from California to Texas following the enactment of the Support Academic Futures & Educators for Today’s Youth (SAFETY) Act by Governor Gavin Newsom. This legislation, designed to protect LGBTQ+ students, particularly transgender youth, prohibits forced outing policies in schools and supports gender-affirming environments. Musk, who has a transgender daughter, blamed the policies of his daughter's school for her decision to sever ties with him. Jenna Wilson, who legally changed her name in 2022, came out as trans at 16 without informing Musk. According to Walter Isaacson's biography of Musk, he observed a shift in his daughter's desire to maintain a relationship with him as her political views progressed "from socialism to full communism, including the belief that wealth is inherently evil." Musk has not only shared anti-trans messages but also insists that society and Twitter are plagued by a "woke mind virus.” The CEO also strongly opposed the new SAFETY law, declaring SpaceX's departure from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas and Twitter's HQ relocation to Austin, Texas. This movie follows his recent show of support for Donald Trump and pledging $45 million monthly to America PAC. #Queer Up Business
