Florida's SMART Ride Chases History For 20th Anniversary And $2 Million Goal

Every year, the SouthernMost HIV/AIDS Ride (SMART Ride), the second largest AIDS bicycle ride in the country, holds a fundraising bike ride in Florida to raise money for HIV causes. The SMART Ride is the only one of its size to give back 100%. It began in 2003 as a calling to help change the landscape and educate the broader community. The SMART Ride 2023 is the 20th-anniversary ride that will be from November 17 to 18, where riders will ride on a scenic route from Miami to Key West. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure that's not just about cycling, but about making a real impact! Join The SMART Ride, where every pedal pushes us closer to a brighter future by registering at TheSmartRide.org. Last year over 10,000 donations were made to the event and over 1 million dollars was raised and returned. This year too, The SMART Ride has a goal to reach the goal of $2 Million. It is the time to make a difference and create a better tomorrow. Your donation matters, no matter the size. In case donation and riding are not your style to help the community, you can be a crew member and help run the event. Presented by CAN Community Health, all funds earned by the event go to various LGBTQ+ organizations including Broward House, AHF, Miracle of Love, Pridelines, Compass Community Center, and Empath Partners in Care. #Queer Up Gay Culture
