Republican presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis and California Democrat governor Gavin Newsom went head-to-head in a public debate hosted by Fox News's Sean Hannity where Newsom blasted the Florida governor over his anti-LGBTQ+ laws. The debate saw the pair spar with each other and call each other a “bully” whilst arguing over tax, immigration, crime, and LGBTQ+ policies. Newsom blasted DeSantis for using education as a sword for your cultural purge. He said DeSantis demeans and humiliates people and the LGBTQ+ community. Newsom also blasted DeSantis’ abortion bills, calling them the most extreme in America. To which responded that he believes in a culture of life. #Queer Up Politics
