France Presents "Rugby Is My Pride" To Stand With LGBTQ+ As They Host The Rugby World Cup

To mark the international day against homophobia, transphobia, and biphobia, France 2023 presented its “Rugby is my Pride” program to fight against all forms of LGBTQIA+ discrimination during the Rugby World Cup France 2023. With the support of World Rugby, the French government, the FFR (Fédération Française de Rugby), and the LNR (Ligue Nationale de Rugby), the France 2023 Organising Committee has built a program centered towards the values of solidarity and team spirit, and embodied by the practice of rugby. Four vital and symbolic moments are announced to make this project come to life such as Paris Gay Pride, Pride Respect Cup, and a symposium to discuss free will in rugby. The tournament will take place from September 8 - October 28, this year. #Queer Up Sports
