Good Riddance To 2023, Here's What We Ain't Bringing To 2024

One of QNT Today’s favorite “splainers” of Queer Pop Culture, Bernardo Sim, a writer and editor at Out Magazine had some observations on how we “won’t” start the new year. Bernardo has a list of things that we are committing to absolutely not bringing into 2024. This immaculate list includes George Santos, we need a break, finished, done. The list also includes Elon Musk’s X/Twitter. Full stop. Drop Mic. Also, No more witnessing LGBTQ+ shows getting canceled after just one season like Rise of the Pink Ladies, A League of Their Own, First Kill, and Warrior Nun. What else we do not want to see in 2024 is muscle gays doing photoshoots in Calvin Klein underwear, praising and/or bashing my brothers and sisters of Gen Z, no relying on TikTok to be our official queer news source, Tik Tok is a dumb person's CNN. Stop the combo of white high-top Converse and calf socks, stripped Zara button-down shirts, complaining about ‘Drag Race’ fatigue, not supporting drag kings, trying to get into ‘The Real Housewives’, and the “kink at Pride” discourse.” As Amanda Priestly says from ‘The Devil Wears Prada’... “that is all.” #Queer Up Gay Culture
