Head Of Mormon Church Says To Treat Trans People With "Love And Dignity"

President Dallin H. Oaks and his wife, Kristen of the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, have advised to show love towards LGBTQ+ members and those with gender dysphoria. He said anyone who does not treat individuals who face gender identity challenges with love and dignity is not aligned with the teachings of the First and Second Great Commandments. Regarding transgender members, he suggested, affected persons and families should take the long view, and seek to rely and act on eternal principles. On LGBTQ+ issues, he holds firm on same-sex attraction but urges members to treat those facing gender identity challenges with love and dignity. #Queer Up Religion
