Iowa Launches A LGBTQ+ Chamber Of Commerce

The Iowa LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce was inaugurated yesterday in Des Moines. The event was organized by Dan Jansen, a leader for LGBTQ+ rights in Des Moines. The chamber is the 77th affiliate of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce. The event was conducted in the presence of respected personalities of the community like Brennan McNell, the national gay and lesbian chamber's senior director of corporate relations, and Iowa State Auditor Rob Sand. Members of this newly established Iowa chamber will have access to a network of LGBTQ+ businesses across the state, become part of the NGLCC network of businesses across the U.S., and apply for certification as an LGBT Business Enterprise with a waiver of the certification fee. #Queer Up Business
