It Gets Better Has New Name And Website To Meet New Challenges Facing Queer Youth

As more schools and libraries ban LGBTQ+ books, It Gets Better is doing more to help. Formally known as It Gets Better Project, this LGBTQ+ youth advocacy group now has a new name, a new website, and a bigger mission. The organization started in 2010 to support queer youth facing high suicide rates and now the group believes its mission has evolved. Losing the word “project” from the name shows that "It Gets Better!” undoubtedly. The new website has educational resources like a glossary of LGBTQ+ terms, videos, and blog posts. As Ross von Metzke, senior director of communications rightly told The Advocate, the new website ItGetsBetter.org, is an important digital platform for LGBTQ+ youth who may not get enough support in their schools. #Queer Up The USA View
