Following Donald Trump’s path, JD Vance joined the Joe Rogan podcast, sparking controversy with his comment about winning “the normal gay guy vote.” Vance suggested that “normal” gay individuals are fed up with trans rights discussions, saying, “They just want to be left for hell alone.” Rogan agreed with Vance’s sentiment, however, the statistics speak differently. A September survey from the Human Rights Campaign shows that 74% of queer voters lean toward Kamala Harris for the upcoming election, with just 7.5% supporting Trump and Vance. On the internet, too, many ridiculed Vance’s “normal gay” comment. #Queer Up Politics
