In Washington, D.C.’s LGBTQ+ community, Bernie Delia's passing at 68 marks the end of a vibrant era. A founding member of the Capital Pride Alliance, Delia has served as board president since October 2011. He was one of the first openly gay appointees at the U.S. Department of Justice, with a 26-year tenure and a notable stint in the Clinton White House.
