The Miami LGBTQ+ Advisory Board will kick off LGBTQ+ Pride Month at 1 pm on June 7, in the lobby of the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st Street, Miami. Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, Chairman Oliver G. Gilbert, III, and County Commissioner Eileen Higgins will deliver remarks. Other elected officials will participate in the event. To mark the occasion, the LGBTQ+ Advisory Board will display the “Where Love is Illegal” photo exhibition, a collection of photos and stories that document LGBTQI+ stories of survival and discrimination from 14 countries around the world.
