The recent Household Pulse Survey showed that Gen Z young adults are much more likely to report identifying as either trans or nonbinary than other generations. Gen Z adults who identify as LGBTQ+ have increased from 10.5% in 2017 to 20.8% in 2021. But Gen Alpha is expected to be even more inclusive, open, and aware of gender identity and sexual orientation. Gen Alpha is most likely to hold more progressive views on issues like climate change, race, and politics pushing the envelope even further than Gen Z. Insider Intelligence reports that Gen Alpha parents have already begun talking with their children about their own personal mental health (46%), their own personal body image (45%), race/racism (34%), the environment/climate change (34%), and gender norms (27%). No wonder fearful conservatives are trying to slow the gen-alpha train from leaving the station by using laws like Don’t Say Gay. #Queer Up The USA View
