National LGBTQ Task Force Gala is Back on October 14

The 2023 National LGBTQ Task Force Gala will celebrate the 50th anniversary of leading the fight for LGBTQ+ liberation in the United States. The event will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Iconic performer Latrice Royale and award-winning actor, singer, filmmaker, writer, and dancer Dyllón Burnside will be welcomed as emcees of the gala. The gala will begin at 6:30 pm, featuring a cocktail reception, a sprawling and spectacular silent auction, a sit-down dinner, an awards ceremony, and the AfterGlow Ball, with a DJ and dancing. Special performances by Anne Steele, Robbie Elias, and Tango Liberated are also scheduled for the evening. The gala is a key fundraiser supporting the social justice work of the task force. A significant portion of the proceeds from the gala will be donated to community partner organizations in South Florida.
