NFL Donates $100,000 to the Trevor Project

On National Coming Out Day, Carl Nassib, the first openly gay active NFL player, announced that the NFL has donated an additional $100,000 to the Trevor Project. Nassib first came out in 2021 while playing for the Las Vegas Raiders and initially donated $100,000 to the organization, with the NFL matching that contribution. The Trevor Project provides critical support for LGBTQ youth, including suicide prevention resources. The new donation strengthens the NFL's ongoing support for LGBTQ causes. Nassib retired from football in 2023 and now focuses on his company, Rayze, a social media platform connecting donors with nonprofits. #Queer Up Gay Culture
