One Is Radical Liberal, Ten Is Radical Conservative. New Survey Shows LGBTQ+ America is 3.9

A recent survey conducted by The Independent Center and the Bullfinch Group, involving 600 LGBTQ+ Americans, reveals significant insights into their voting preferences for the upcoming presidential election. Despite expressing more moderate views on various issues, the majority of LGBTQ+ voters are inclined toward President Joe Biden over Donald Trump. The survey revealed that 30 percent of LGBTQ+ voters consider themselves moderate centrist/independent. Respondents were also asked to rate their political stance on a scale from 0 to 10, with 0 indicating the most liberal and 10 the most conservative. On average, participants rated themselves at 3.9, with many indicating a preference for politicians to hold a moderate stance at 5. The survey also shows that an overwhelming 73 percent of respondents consider LGBTQ+ issues equally or more important than other factors influencing their voting decisions, like the economy and jobs. Forty-three percent express a definite intent to vote for Biden, while 13 percent lean towards doing so, compared to 28 percent for Trump. LGBTQ+ voters trust Biden more to protect their rights largely because of the Republican Party's stance on LGBTQ+ issues, which makes equality a partisan concern. A separate survey conducted by GLAAD also indicated that most LGBTQ+ voters favor Biden over Trump. Zeke Stokes, a consultant at GLAAD, explained that the trend of LGBTQ+ individuals voting for Democrats is largely due to the Republican Party's politicization of LGBTQ equality. #Queer Up Politics
