The Roommate is set to make its Broadway debut at the Booth Theatre on September 12, starring Mia Farrow and Patti LuPone. Written by Jen Silverman and directed by Jack O'Brien, the play centers on Sharon, a Midwesterner played by Farrow, whose life is turned upside down when Robyn, a lesbian New Yorker portrayed by LuPone, moves in. Their contrasting personalities lead to a journey filled with secrets, surprises, and an unexpected bond. A recent interview by CBS News Sunday Morning Correspondent Seth Doane gives us a glimpse of the chemistry between two women. We see Mia Farrow praising LuPone, saying, “If I had a thousand hats, they’d all be off to Patti LuPone.” While talking about their bond, LuPone, funnily says, “I'm pepper, she's sugar. Or agave, or honey, and I'm paprika." #Queer Up Gay Culture
