We'd watch Paul Mescal star in a movie any afternoon! The Irish actor, already celebrated for his roles in Normal People and Aftersun, has won over the queer community with his portrayal in All of Us Strangers. Soon to hit the big screen in Gladiator II, he's also excited fans with his dream role: Sonny Wortzik from Dog Day Afternoon. Al Pacino originally portrayed Wortzik, who infamously robbed a bank in 1972 to pay for his wife’s gender-affirming surgery. Though Mescal won't be starring in that queer classic, fans can look forward to his role in The History of Sound, an upcoming film about two young men who fall in love during World War I while recording the lives of fellow Americans. #Queer Up Entertainment
