Rainbow Capitalism Helps Make LGBTQ+ Events Like Stonewall Pride Possible

Rainbow capitalism, a phenomenon where businesses embrace and cater to the LGBTQ+ community, has been on the rise, fostering greater social tolerance. Often the phrase can be perceived negatively on how a corporate entity supports the LGBTQ+ community. For 2024 Pride it is clear that conservative pushback has affected corporate embracement this Pride month. It’s why we take time to tell the story of corporate partnerships. A prime example of this trend is the upcoming Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride Festival and Parade, garnering significant support from organizations and businesses nationwide. Notable sponsors include COMCAST, Amazon, Cleveland Clinic, Jet Blue, American Express, Warten Foundation, Absolute, Grindr, and more. These organizations have contributed to making this pride a reality. The costs associated with street closures, law enforcement and security, and the like are what makes the fun, celebration and signature events in our community a possibility during these contentious political times. Their backing underscores the event's significance and demonstrates a growing alignment between business capitalism and LGBTQ+ inclusion. Be sure to join more than 50,000 at the Pride Parade and festival on June 15. And continue to follow the “Stories of Stonewall Pride”. (No Comment) #Queer Up Business
