SAVE Gala Draws All LGBTQ+ Eyes To November 2024 'Election Of Every Lifetime'

This week equality voices and fund raising was front and center in South Florida as SAVE, Miami-Dade County's largest LGBTQ+ advocacy group held it’s annual Gala at the Miami Beach New World Symphony Hall. The SAVE Gala was celebrating it’s 30th anniversary. Special recognition was given by city and South Florida political leaders to Executive Director Orlando Gonzales and his leadership through the trying times of pandemic and then Governor DeSantis. The beautiful programs included a bar, food, silent auction and then an awards program hosted by Queer Eyes Jai Rodriguez. A highlight and congratulations from Happening Out Television Network for the special award presentation to Glen Weinzimer contributions to the LGBTQ+ community. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Smart Ride for HIV/Aids and other LGBTQ+ health issues, our friend and anchor here at Queer News Tonight was very deserving of the recognition of his advocacy. You can still contribute to supporting their ongoing Social Justice efforts by going to SAVE.lgbt #Queer Up Politics
