Forget dropping balls! Midnight at Bourbon Street Bar once again hosted the Dropping of the Shoe! But — Same shoe, new occupant! Christopher Peterson took the midnight ride down to Bourbon Street. He replaced Key West icon Sushi who, apparently, retired from the midnight madness. She told me, “The drop was okay. Looking down? Well, up there it’s not good! But a little liquid courage gets you through." Once he got to Duval Street, he sang Auld Lang Syne. Of Course, that’s not the only gay thing to relive. Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen once again did a marathon countdown on CNN, filled with special guests, including John Mayer from a cat cafe in Tokyo.
