South Florida Drag Queens Celebrate Ana Navarro Birthday On 'The View'

52 is a big birthday for Ana Navarro and for the South Florida LGBTQ+ community. She has the voice of a lion in advocating for LGBTQ+ rights as host of ABC’s ‘The View’ and many other media platforms. But she is also a regular home town girl when she comes to South Florida. You just never know if she is going to appear at the SAVE Gala or Sunday Drag Brunch at Wynwood’s beloved R-House. So Queer America was not surprised at her birthday celebration live on ‘The View’ Friday. What was especially touching was who showed up to celebrate on set but none-other than the Drag Queens from the gay owned R-House restaurant. Athena Dion, R-House Hostess and Queer News Tonight anchor joined Tayanna Love Elisha, Kat Wilderness, Juicy Love Dion in the live celebration. The party foods were, of course, her favorites from R-House including Chimichurri Burgers, Guava French Toast and Croquestas. R-House owner and chef Rocco also was on set. It was an amazing moment for the South Florida community as they began to discuss Governor Ron DeSantis going after R House for the Drag Shows that have made them so famous across America. They talked about his drag ban passed last spring. Navarro’s voice was crystal clear on her thoughts about the Presidential candidate. They finished the birthday celebration by playing Gloria Gaynors ‘I Will Survive’. #Queer Up South Florida & Florida
