Stonewall Pride Glow Night Parade Wants You To 'Light Up' June 15

On Saturday, June 15, the Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride Parade and Street Festival returns to Wilton Drive, South Florida's renowned Gay Mecca. This vibrant celebration commemorates the historic 1969 Stonewall Riots, marking the inception of the LGBTQ+ human rights movement and its profound impact on our community. One of the highlights of this year's pride festivities is the Glow Night Parade. For the first time ever, the parade is a cooler night time experience. As dusk falls, the Stonewall Pride Parade transforms into a dazzling spectacle, as Pride Floats, Vehicles, and Walking Groups illuminate the night with a mesmerizing display of lights and colors. The Glow Night Parade promises to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing the spirit of pride and solidarity within the LGBTQ+ community. And illumination is not just from the parade participants. Organizers encourage the more than 50,000 participants to wear glow sticks, have rainbow flashlights and stand out in your only personal lights to celebrate LGBTQ+. Don't miss out on this first of it’s kind parade for the LGBTQ+ south florida community. And continue to follow the beautiful “Stories of Stonewall Pride” exclusively from Queer News Tonight.
