University Of Minnesota To Host LGBTQ Farming Conference

The University of Minnesota Extension will host the state’s first-ever LGBTQ farming conference, "Ag for All," on March 8, 2025, in St. Cloud. The event is a collaboration between the University, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, and the USDA Farm Service Agency. The event logo, a farm landscape in the colors of the Progress Pride Flag, highlights the inclusion message. “Ag for All” aims to bring queer agriculturists together for networking, workshops, and discussions on industry topics impacting the community. Despite receiving some backlash on the online announcement post, it has gained significant support with over 2.3k likes and 245 shares. The conference will be held at the Holiday Inn & Suites in St. Cloud, and those interested can sign up for registration alerts. More details will be announced soon. #Queer Up Gay Culture
