Pride parades have been taking place across Poland during Pride Month, advocating for expanded LGBTQ+ rights in the conservative, predominantly Catholic country. Usually, the Pride parades in Poland are in the form of protest rather than party. However, last week’s march in Warsaw drew over 20,000 participants, including Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski and Equality Minister Katarzyna Kotula from The Left party. This surely is a positive sign for LGBTQ+ rights in the country. #Queer Up The World View
